About this recipe
Plain Greek yogurt, maple, berries, and granola. More protein than most breakfast bowls, and you control the sweetness.
Build four jars for the week. Keep granola separate if you want it crunchy on day three.
A short macerate on the berries (maple plus a pinch of salt) pulls juice so the layers taste seasoned.
Step 1
Stir vanilla and a pinch of salt into the yogurt until smooth.
Step 2
Toss berries with 1 tablespoon maple syrup and rest 10 minutes so juices collect.
Step 3
Layer yogurt, berries, and granola in four jars or glasses. Repeat if the jars are tall.
Step 4
Drizzle the remaining maple on top. Refrigerate up to 3 days, adding granola just before eating if you want it crunchy.
Tips
Keep granola in a separate bag if meal-prepping more than a day ahead so it stays crunchy.
Macerate berries with a pinch of salt and maple for 10 minutes to pull juice without cooking.
Use plain Greek yogurt so you control sweetness. Flavored cups hide a lot of sugar.
